The funeral of Egyptian actor Salah El-Saadani was held on Sunday, April 21 at a mosque in Sheik Zayed, with a large number of members from the film industry present to bid farewell to the star who died on 19 April at the age of 81. El-Saadani's son, Ahmed Salah El-Saadani, thanked everyone who offered condolences via social media. The actor's family had previously announced that the funeral was to be limited to mourners, without media presence. Egyptian actor Ashraf Zaki said the tribute to El-Saadani saw a great turnout from the artistic community.
