Minister Ja far Al Barmaki hears the Bedouin Dananir singing while passing through the desert. He asks her to accompany him to Baghdad where she sings in front of the Caliph Harun Al Rashid, and becomes his favorite singer, but the plots against Ja far turn Harun against him.
