"Developments in Funeral of French Actor Alain Delon: Buried with his Dogs"

French screen legend Alain Delon passed away on Sunday at the age of 88, leaving behind a career filled with timeless roles that shaped European cinema for decades. According to the late artist's wishes, there will be no national mourning ceremonies and he will be buried quietly near his dogs in his private property in the region of Douchy, central France. Delon's three children, Anthony, Anouchka and Alain-Fabien, announced their father's death, overcoming their previous disagreements, particularly after he requested two years ago for mercy killing which his family refused. Delon's death was mourned by the French political arena, where President Emmanuel Macron described him as "a French icon" who "made the world dream". The media also gave wide international attention to Delon's death, with leading newspapers around the world paying tribute to him and describing him as "a hard boy with an angelic face in world cinema".
