Egyptian actor and singer Tamer Hosny expressed gratitude towards Turki Al-Sheikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, for his remarks about Hosny's film "Bahebak" achieving record-breaking revenues in 2022 close to a billion EGP. Hosny clarified that the revenue is distributed among international distributors, and not just to the film's producers and cast. Hosny also noted that many had doubted the film's potential success before its release, but the numbers proved them wrong. He thanked the audience in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the Arab world, as well as the film's cast and producers, for their support.
