The Diversity of the Quarter Finals: A Saudi Quartet and Lone African Represented in King Salman Cup Matches

The quarter-final matches of the King Salman Club Champions Cup (Arab Club Championship) have been determined, which are being held in Saudi Arabia.

The group stage matches came to a close on Thursday night, with only one African representative, Defending champion, Raja Casablanca, making it through to the quarter-finals. In contrast, all four Saudi clubs, Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr, Al-Shabab, and Al-Ittihad, secured their places in the quarter-finals with a perfect record.

The eight qualified clubs from the group stage are Al-Ittihad (Saudi),Al-Hilal (Saudi),Al-Nassr (Saudi),Al-Shabab (Saudi),Raja Casablanca (Morocco),Al-Wahda (UAE),Al-Sadd SC (Qatar),and Al-Shurta SC (Iraq).
