The cast and crew of the series "220 Day" began filming the first scenes yesterday, starting with outdoor scenes in Cairo and moving on to interior shots in the neighborhood of Masr al-Jadida. The series stars Karim Fahmy, Sabah Mubarak, Ali al-Tayeb, Hanan Soliman, Aida Riad, Mira Diab, and Lina Sofia, among others. The 15-episode series was written by Mahmoud Zahran, with scenarios and dialogue by Samar Bahgat and Nadine Nader, and directed by Karim Al-Adl. The series is produced by Cedar Art Production.
