Angelina Jolie kneels for a fan with neurodegenerative disease at Venice Film Festival.

Angelina Jolie met with a fan who suffers from ALS during the 81st Venice Film Festival. The fan was in a mobile bed but still made an effort to meet the Hollywood actress. Jolie kneeled beside him and spoke with him while photographers took photos of the moment. Jolie attended the festival for the presentation of her latest film, "Maria," directed by Chilean filmmaker Paolo Larraín. The movie is the latest in a trilogy of self-portrait films that also included "Jackie" and "Spencer." "Maria" tells the story of legendary soprano Maria Callas. The Venice Film Festival will continue until September 7th.
