Saudi singer Matar Al-Matar has celebrated his engagement to the daughter of artist and director Munqith Al-Sa'idi in a family gathering. Many friends and fans of Al-Matar took to social media to congratulate him on the occasion. Al-Matar will be performing in a musical tribute to his late father Yusuf Al-Matar on 19 September in Kuwait, which will also feature some of Al-Matar's own work. The event is being organised by Rotana, who will begin selling tickets on 20 August.
