The production company of the highly anticipated drama film "Emilia Perez" has released the official trailer, directed by French filmmaker Jacques Audiard, and starring Selena Gomez. The plot of the movie revolves around a lawyer named Rita, who is highly qualified but undervalued. She works in a big company that is more interested in getting criminals off the hook than bringing them to justice. One day, she is unexpectedly appointed by the cartel leader Manitas to help him retire from his job and to fulfill a secret plan that he has been dreaming of for years, which is to become the woman he always wanted to be. The film premiered at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, where it won two awards from the jury and Best Actress, and will be released on Netflix on November 13th.
