The event was attended by the family and close friends of the couple, and everyone wore traditional Indian clothing. Priyanka Chopra did not attend with her husband Nick Jonas, who was absent from the event. Siddharth Chopra was keen to document the wedding to his long-time love, which took place on August 26th, which also happens to be the birthday of their late father, Dr. Ashok Chopra.
