A video posted on social media showed a heated altercation between Emirati singer Hamid Al Shaeri and a hairdresser in the Egyptian town of New Cairo. In the video, Al Shaeri appears to be upset over the way his hair was cut and throws money on the floor. The hairdresser then engages in an argument, seemingly attempting to explain his work. Al Shaeri has recently participated in the "Cassette 90" concert held in the New Alamein City as part of the Alamein festival's second edition, where he sang alongside other 90s singing stars, including Mohamed Fouad, Ayab Tawfik, Mostafa Amar, and Khaled Agag. The concert reportedly drew a large audience of all ages and nationalities and continued until the early hours of the morning.
