Hollywood star Johnny Depp is set to don the director's hat after 20 years, for the film Modi - Three Days On The Wing Of Madness, which will be screened at the San Sebastian International Film Festival from 20-28 September. The film, which tells the life story of artist Amedeo Modigliani, is supported by the Red Sea Film Foundation. Co-starring alongside Depp are actors Ricardo Scamarcio, Stephen Graham, and Al Pacino, and the film's lead actress is French performer Antonia Desplat. The film is described as "an 72-hour tornado in the life of the bohemian artist Amadeo Modigliani". It follows the artists through a series of chaotic events in the Paris streets that were torn apart by war in 1916.
