Egyptian actor Amr Karara has denied rumours that he will star in a new film, titled "Summer 67", alongside Nelly Karim, saying "I do not participate in the 'Summer 67 Film' and I do not know anything about it, but I am currently preparing for my new film titled Al-Shater with director Ahmed El-Gendy". Karara's latest film, "Al-Bo’bo’", was screened during Eid Al-Adha in 2023 and then achieved significant success on Netflix when it was released earlier this year. The film is an action comedy about a criminal named Sultan who is seeking to complete a new mission after being released from prison. Also featuring in "Al-Bo’bo’" is Yasmine Sabry, Mahmoud El-Bezzawi, Mohamed Anwar, Mohamed Abdelrahman, Mohamed Abdelazim, and the young actor Jan Ramiz. The series "Beit El-Rafie ", in which Karara starred opposite Ahmed Rizk, was a notable hit during the 2024 Ramadan season.
