Saudi Arabian singer Abdalmajeed Abdullah performed in the southern city of Abha as part of the Kingdom Tour sponsored by the General Entertainment Authority, in collaboration with Rotana Music Group. The show was attended by thousands of fans and millions watched it live on TV and radio. Abdullah’s last performance in the southern region was over 25 years ago. He performed over 20 songs during the concert, including some from his upcoming album, which is set to release between the end of September and beginning of October. Abdullah revealed that all the songs in the album have been composed by singer Tariq Mohammed. Speaking of his audience, Abdullah said: “They [the fans in Abha] are just like my family, they are the reason behind my career all these years, they always give me strength and support to continue”. He also thanked all parties, including Rotana, for their role in rescheduling the concert due to rainy weather.
