World-renowned French artist Alain Delon passes away at 88.

French actor Alain Delon has passed away at the age of 88, according to his three children. Delon had suffered a stroke three years ago and was also battling lymphoma. Delon was known for his roles in popular films, often playing the lead protagonist in chase films and romantic flicks. He has numerous notable performances, having worked with renowned directors in France, Italy, and the United States. His children were involved in a legal battle with Hiroko Rolland, Delon's assistant, whom they accused of exploiting their father. The dispute made headlines in summer 2023 and sparked a family feud that ended up in court. In May 2019, Delon received a lifetime achievement award at the Cannes Film Festival, where he made a rare appearance. Delon's last public appearance was at Jean-Paul Belmondo's funeral in the summer of 2021. Delon is survived by his three children: Anthony, Anouchka, and Alain-Fabien. Delon's noted performances include films such as "Plein Soleil" (1960),"Rocco et ses freres" (1960),"Le Guepard" (1963),"Samourai" (1967),"La Piscine" (1969),and "Monsieur Klein" (1976).
