Egyptian actors Menna Shalaby and Ahmed Dawood will star in the upcoming romantic social film "El Hawa Sultan" (Love Sultan). The movie was previously known by different names, including "Orchid Hall" and "Sara and Ali," before settling on its final name. The film's story centers around a woman named Sara, played by Shalaby, who is afraid of commitment due to her father's remarriage. Dawood plays an engineer who falls in love with Sara. The film also features veteran actors Sawsan Badr and Emad Rashad. The film was directed and written by Hiba Yessrsi and produced by Ahmed Fahmy and Hany Naguib's company, Sea-Cinema. Meanwhile, Shalaby has also signed on for a Netflix series based on Tarek Imam's novel "Hodouaa Al Katela" (Killers' Silence) to be aired after Ramadan in 2025. Dawood is also currently shooting a series called "Kol Sana Mara" (Every Year Once) where he portrays a theater actor.
