Mohamed Farag denies signing up for Ramadan series in 2025.

Egyptian actor Mohamed Farrag has denied reports that he had signed on to star in a new TV series expected to compete in Ramadan 2025. The actor made the denial on Instagram, stating that the reports aren't true and that he will announce any project for Ramadan 2022 only after securing an official agreement. Farrag last appeared on TV in Ramadan 2024 with the series "Lahza Ghab" (Moment of Anger). The 25-part series, written by Mahab Tarek, provided co-starring roles for Sabaa Mubarak, Nardin Faraj, Ali Qassem, and Reem Khouri. The series was produced by Tareq Al Genni and directed by Abdul Aziz Al Najjar. Farrag’s latest cinematic work came in the movie “Ahl Al Kahf” (People of the Cave) where he starred along with Khaled Al Nabawi and Ghada Adel, among others. The film is based on a four-act play that shares the same name as the novel written by Tawfiq Al-Hakim. The script is an adaptation written by Ayman Bahgat Amar, and the production was handled by Mohammed Rushed and directed by Amr Arafa. The narrative revolves around three people who wake up after 300 years of hibernation inside a cave.
