Egyptian actress Mai Omar is set to participate in the Ramadan marathon of 2025 through her role in the upcoming series "Ish Ish," written and directed by her husband, Mohamed Sami. In the show, Omar will play a third-grade dancer from Alexandria, a role that differs from her previous work. "Ish Ish" is expected to consist of 30 episodes and is set within a social and suspenseful context. Other stars in the series include Maged El-Masry, Hala Sedki, Intisar, Ehab Fahmy and Edward. Sami earlier shared behind-the-scenes photos from the show through his Instagram account. The series is expected to enjoy great popularity, similar to Omar's previous work "Niamat Al-Avocado," which was well received by both audiences and critics. "The Crows," a new film starring Omar, is due to be released soon. It was written and directed by Yassin Hassan and produced by Saif Aribi. Set in 1941 during World War II and the Battle of Alamein, the film is an action-packed thriller and stars Amr Saad, Aisha Ben Ahmad, Abdel Aziz Mekkion, Fares Rahooma and a number of Russian and foreign actors.
