Ahmed Salah Hosny, the former football player and father of Egyptian actor Ahmed Salah Hosny, has passed away. The news was announced by sports journalist Amr Al-Bunni on his Facebook page. Ahmed Salah Hosny recently starred in the action film "El Serb," which tells the story of a group of Egyptian heroes on a mission to avenge the killing of 21 Egyptians. The film is directed by Ahmed Nader Galal and stars popular Arab actors including Sherif Mounir, Nelly Karim, and Mohamed Mamdouh. Hosny's father was a former football star at Al-Ahly and held positions as a football director and executive manager at the Egyptian Football Association.
