Egyptian actor Youssef El Sherif attended the premiere of his play "Sinbad" in the New Alamein Festival in Saudia Arabia. The play, also starring Karim Abdel Aziz, Nelly Karim, Mustafa Khater, Sami Maghawry, and Wezzo, is a fantasy about Omar El-Hawal who finds a magical necklace that transports him to the time of Sinbad the Sailor. The play is part of the collaboration between the Riyadh Season and the Saudi Entertainment Authority, in partnership with the United Media Services Company. The New Alamein Festival features more than 20 events, including plays, sports and entertainment activities, and is aimed at attracting tourists from around the world.
