The song's lyrics and music were written by Ivan Nasrallah, with musical arrangements by Hadi Sharara and mixing and mastering by Eli Barbar. The video clip was directed by Karam's son Nicolas Karam. Najwa Karam is a Lebanese singer and one of the most popular artists in the Arab world. She was born in the district of Zahle to a Maronite family and started singing in the 80s. In 1985, she participated in the program "Lebanese Nights" and won the gold medal. She released her first album, "Ya Habayeb," in 1989, followed by her second album, "Shams El Ghinieh," in 1992, which was a great success. Since then, she has released several other albums, averaging one album per year. Karam participated as a judge for six seasons in the show "Arab's Got Talent" from 2011.
