Egyptian artist Boussy's daughter, May Nour El Sherif, has denied her mother's alleged retirement from acting. Boussy had previously announced that she did not wish to return to acting and considered her artistic career fulfilled. However, May Nour El Sherif has stated in a TV interview that her mother did not retire from acting and had not spoken with them about her intention to retire. Boussy has a long and distinguished career with more than 180 works to her name, including her most recent series, Princess Bessah, which aired in 2019.
