Shelby's "Quiet Killing" series filming postponed.

The shooting of the anticipated series "Hodou' El Qatla" starring Menna Shalaby has been delayed until after Ramadan 2025, as the production team and writing team are still preparing the show. This delay is also due to Shalaby's involvement in multiple other projects, including the films "El Hawa Sultan" and "Ferqa El Mout." Additionally, Shalaby will be participating in another series airing on MBC after being absent from the Ramadan 2024 season. The show's director, Karim El Shenawy, will still helm the project after Ramadan 2022, thanks to his previous successful TV and film works, including the TV series "El Horshah Al Sabaa'", "Khalli Balak Men Zzizi", and "Qabeel". His latest film, "Daye'", featuring several Egyptian stars and produced in cooperation with Saudi Big Time Studios, recently completed production. Shalaby's last TV project was "Tagheer Jou", directed by Mariam Abou Ouf and aired on Shahid and MBC Egypt in Ramadan 2023, while her last film was "El Gherme", written and directed by Sherif Arafa, released in 2022. Shalaby is currently working on "Ferqa El Mout", which also features Ahmed Ezz and is being produced by Saudi Big Time Studios.
