Rotana is organizing a big singing concert featuring Abdul Majeed Abdullah in Abha, as part of its tour of the Kingdom. The concert will take place on August 16th with support from the General Entertainment Authority. The artist had recently given three sold-out concerts in Kuwait that began with his song 'The First Story' and included old favorites and new releases. The concerts were accompanied by a 74-piece orchestra led by Maestro Waleed Fayad, and followed a two-part format with a short rest in-between. The singer expressed his respect for his colleagues' successes, but did not claim to be at the top of the industry himself, saying he was happy that his friends were doing well. He also mentioned a caregiving attitude towards his colleagues Mohammed Abdu and Abdullah Al Ruwaished, both of whom have had health concerns recently, and announced plans to release an upcoming mini-album called “Hikayat Wajed,” which is almost complete.
