Bousy on Arab Wood addressing the controversy of being titled "The Voice of Egypt": Can't claim it myself!

Egyptian singer Boussi has weighed in on the controversy surrounding the title of "Voice of Egypt" and which Egyptian singer deserves it. In an interview with "Arab Wood," she expressed the view that everyone has their own unique style and voice, and it is up to the market to decide who is the Voice of Egypt or number one, rather than other singers or individuals. She also sent a message to fellow singer Sherine Abdel Wahab, stating that while she admires her voice and talent, she wishes she would focus more on her career and music rather than personal issues. Boussi recently released a new song titled "Zayih Tani," with lyrics by Hossam Hosny and music by Medine, and participated in a commercial campaign for a telecommunications company with actor Ahmed Ezz. She also hosted the theme song and soundtrack for the TV series "The Highest Watched Percentage," which aired during Ramadan in 2024.
