Tickets for singer Abadi Al-Johar's highly anticipated concert in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on August 2, have sold out in just one day. The concert will take place at the Abadi Al-Johar Arena as part of the summer season. The singer recently had a theatre in Riyadh named after him in a tribute orchestrated by Turki Al Al-Sheikh, chairman of the country's General Entertainment Authority. Al-Johar personally visited the construction of the theatre and expressed his gratitude for the honour. Meanwhile, Al Al-Sheikh praised the singer for the “huge honour” of having a theatre named after him, explaining the decision was part of a wave of tributes for Saudi icons in various fields. Al-Johar thanked Al Al-Sheikh via Twitter, saying that he was “unable to express his gratitude”.
