Celine Dion makes first appearance in Paris before headlining 2024 Olympics opening ceremony.

Canadian singer Celine Dion has sparked excitement among fans with reports that she may perform at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. TMZ claimed to have confirmed with sources that Dion will sing a duet of Edith Piaf’s La Vie en Rose with Lady Gaga for a fee of $2m. While no confirmation of the rumours have come from Dion herself, French President Emmanuel Macron has previously suggested that the star would be a great addition to the ceremony. The opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics will feature more than 100 boats carrying athlete delegations along the Seine river in front of an estimated 600,000 spectators.
