This marks her first nomination as an actress, having previously been nominated by executive producer. She is nominated alongside Anya Taylor-Joy for “The Bear”, Maya Rudolph for “Loot”, and Jean Smart for “Hacks”. The third season of the show has also been nominated for Best Comedy Series. Gomez recently revealed her desire to adopt a child if she remains unmarried by the age of 35, stating that if she doesn’t meet the right partner by that age, she will opt for adoption. She explained that she had spent five years of her life alone, and although it was difficult, she accepted it. Gomez previously dazzled on the red carpet at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival in a black dress with a white satin shoulder line design.
