Shams al-Baroudi condemned rumors and allegations that are being repeated by people who "lack education and manners," as she described them. She said, "The man has announced his retirement, and you don't understand that we are grieving." Last year, Abdullah, the son of Hassan Youssef and Shams al-Baroudi, drowned on the North Coast.
