Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan will receive the honorary award for achievement at the 77th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland next month. The award recognizes his career with over 100 films in Indian cinema, and the festival management revealed that he will be presented with the award on August 10th in the open Piazza Grande, where his movie "Devdas" will also be screened. Khan will also participate in a discussion session the following day to talk about his cinematic career. The artistic director of the festival, Giona A. Nazzaro, described Khan as a "living legend" who has never lost touch with his audiences and has collaborated with some of the greatest directors and stars in India.
