Mohammed Ramadan's Film with Saad Lamjarred on hold, based on the life of Ahmed Zaki.

On the sidelines of a press conference for his concert in Morocco, Egyptian actor and singer Mohamed Ramadan talked about his film with Moroccan pop star Saad Lamjarred, which was first announced in 2020. Ramadan explained that the project is still ongoing, and that the two artists had initially discussed working on it together, but it did not come to fruition. Regarding a proposed TV series about the life of late Egyptian actor Ahmed Zaki, Ramadan revealed that he and Zaki's family had previously discussed the idea with writer Bashir El Deek, but ultimately decided against it over concerns about possibly including a portrayal of Zaki's private life. Ramadan noted that the primary goal of the project had been to honor a great artist like Ahmed Zaki, who sacrificed years of his life for the art of acting. In addition, Ramadan discussed his absence from TV dramas in recent years and his decision to limit his work in that genre, explaining that building a successful career with a long-lasting legacy requires diversification and not relying too heavily on one medium or genre. Ramadan cited examples of actors like Ahmed Zaki, Adel Imam, and Mahmoud Abdel Aziz who achieved great success without appearing in many TV dramas.
