Rotana company announced the return of singer Rashid Al-Majid to the music scene, after a 10-year hiatus, and revealed details of his upcoming album, in addition to other surprises. The company stated that Al-Majid has been recording new songs, including a new song for Jeddah city. The album will include 11 to 13 songs featuring lyrics by various prominent poets, including the late Prince Badr bin Abdulmohsen and Prince Khaled Al-Faisal. Al-Majid had also recorded a set of songs to be released as singles, before proceeding with the album with Dr. Talal's music. The singer is expected to return to singing after releasing his new album, with his last performance being in January 2022 at the Dubai Shopping Festival. Al-Majid reassured his fans about his health and announced his album on his birthday last year.
