Turki Al-Sheikh, the Saudi chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, celebrated the success of the Egyptian film "El-Gazeera 3" by revealing on Facebook the film's revenues of EGP 114m since its release. The film reportedly broke records by becoming the first in history to earn more than EGP 100m in a single week. Starring Ahmed Ezz, Amr Youssef, Karim Qassem and Asir Yassin, it is directed by Tarek El Erian and written by Salah El Juhayni. The film also features cameos from former boxing champion Tyson Fury and Egyptian actor Karim Abdel Aziz. Al-Sheikh's post was celebrated by fans of the film. El-Gazeera 3 - El-Qadiyah is the third film in the franchise, which began as a TV series in 2015 and was shown in cinemas in 2015.
