Sylvester Stallone sues Warner Bros.

Sylvester Stallone has filed a lawsuit against Warner Bros for allegedly cheating him out of his percentage of profits from 1993 science fiction film Demolition Man. The suit alleges "unfair business practices" and breach of contract. Stalone's production company was supposed to receive 15% of adjusted gross receipts, or AGT, if Demolition Man earned more than $125m at the box office. According to the lawsuit, Warner Bros claimed the film lost $66.9m, and so only paid the company $2.8m. The suit alleges that Warner Bros concealed Demolition Man's true AGT. A spokesperson for Warner Bros declined to comment.
