The cast of the film "Ahl Al-Kahf" celebrated its special screening in a cinema in the city of 6th of October, which will compete in the Eid Al-Adha season. The film is based on a play in four acts of the same name by the writer Tawfiq Al-Hakim. The events of the story take place when three people wake up inside a cave after 300 years of sleep: the ministers "Mishilinia" and "Marnoush", who fled from the king's oppression "Dikiyanus", and the shepherd "Yamlakha" and his dog "Qumtir". The three return to the kingdom and collide with the changing shape of life among the people and inside the palace, entering into a struggle with the feeling of loneliness due to the lack of anything that connects them to their previous lives. Their decision is to return again to the cave, waiting for death.
