Social media users were shocked when Egyptian actress Sherine Reda announced her retirement from the entertainment industry via a post on Instagram stories. However, the cause of the announcement turned out to be a promotional campaign for a telecoms company that featured Reda and actor Magdy El Kedwany and was scheduled to be aired soon. Reda has been active in the entertainment industry this year, with three films being released at the same time, in addition to a guest appearance in a TV series.
