"Bioumi Fuad's Debut Lead Role in Saudi Arabian Cinema"

Egyptian actor, comedian, and TV host, Bayoumi Fouad, is set to star in a Saudi Arabian comedy feature film titled "Ghashmooa." Fouad will play the role of a very wealthy and passionate collector of rare goods who finds himself losing large sums of money and going through a struggle to recover it. The film is directed by Moataz Al-Toni and also stars Saudi Arabian actor Mohammad Al-Rashed. The film is expected to be a mix of Egyptian and Saudi Arabian cinema style comedy, with the story focusing on a hero's journey to overcome obstacles. "Ghashmooa" is the latest addition to the slate of Saudi Arabian feature films, as the country continues to make strides into the global entertainment industry. The film's title is derived from an Arabic word that refers to the beginning of a wheat plant and was chosen because of the symbolism it carries with regards to the hero's struggles and journey in the movie. Bayoumi Fouad has several other films set to be released in the upcoming months, including "Playing with the Kids" featuring Mohamed Imam, Asmaa Galal, and Bassem Samra; and "People of the Cave" featuring Khaled El Nabawy, Ghada Adel, and Mohamed Mamdouh.
