Saudi Film Nights completed by film commission in Australia.

The Saudi Film Authority has announced the next event of the "Saudi Film Nights" in Australia from June 26-28, 2024, at the Sydney Opera House and the cinema hall at the Sofitel Hotel in Melbourne. The event will showcase a diverse range of Saudi feature films including "Wadi Al Wadi" by director Khaled Fahad, "Hijan" by director Abubakr Shawky, and "Alhamor H.A" by director Abdelilah Al-Qurashi, as well as short Saudi films such as "Saleeg" by director Afnan Bouayyan and "Me and Aidarus" by director Sarah Balghonaim. The film screenings will be followed by discussion sessions and critical seminars with film industry professionals, academics, critics, and artists. The "Saudi Film Nights" aim to support local Saudi talents, promote worldwide awareness of Saudi cinema creativity, and provide opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange among participants and enthusiasts from different cultures. The event is part of Saudi Film Authority's efforts to enhance the global and local presence of Saudi cinema, support its growth and development, shed light on Saudi film production, and enable Saudi filmmakers to reach a diverse international audience and establish solid relationships in the global film scene for knowledge and experience exchange.
