Egyptian film "El Serab" (The Squadron),starring Ahmed El Sakka, Sherif Mounir and Karim Fahmy, has surpassed EGP 1.056m ($67,655) in box office receipts on its opening day on Friday, according to local reports. The action movie is based on real events and follows a team of Egyptian heroes who undertake a daring aerial mission within enemy lines, after the assassination of 21 Egyptians. It features stunning fight scenes and excellent production quality. The film was directed by Ahmed Nader Galal. Other Arab stars that appear in "El Serab" include Sherif Mounir, Nelly Karim, and Mohamed Mamdouh. The film is produced by Rotana Studios and Synergy Art Production.
