Al-Fahad's previous song "Shsuee Lee" has nearly reached two million views on YouTube since its release in March 2023. The song is written by Mohamed Al-Qassimi and composed by Abdullah Al-Sahl, with arrangements by Cyrus and produced by Rotana Music. The lyrics of "Ayam" express the longing and pain caused by separation from a loved one.
