In an exclusive interview with Rotana, the Prince of Arabic Music, Abdul Majeed Abdullah, spoke about the Kuwaiti audience's response to his successful trilogy of concerts there. He stated that culture remains the number one factor on the Kuwaiti stage, with any artist who visits receiving a different reception from the Kuwaiti audience. Abdul Majeed Abdullah also commented on the experience of his trilogy of concerts, stating that it was a beautiful experience that he started in Riyadh, with two concerts initially, before expanding to three concerts in the third season. He noted that the first three concerts were in Kuwait, where they organized the events to take place over three nights so that the audience could increase to 15,000 people. He added that in Riyadh and Dubai, the concerts went beyond 10,000 people, and he believes that Kuwait deserves more than just three nights, but a lifetime of performances. During the interview, Abdul Majeed Abdullah commented on his trending status on social media and his dabke dance. He explained that dabke is a foundation of southern song, and they thought it would be an excellent opportunity to bring it to the stage after not being able to execute it in the studio. He added that the Kuwaiti audience welcomed the dance and noted that as a Southerner, they want to create positive energy on stage. Abdul Majeed Abdullah also discussed attending the wedding of the CEO of Rotana, Salem Al Hindi. He highlighted that he met Salem in 1987 and that they have worked together ever since. He regarded Salem as a companion and dear brother who loves everyone and is happy to attend his son's wedding. Regarding his new album, "Wajed," Abdul Majeed Abdullah stated that it is almost complete and waiting for the right time to release it. When asked about his upcoming concerts, he said Rotana had all the news because the company handled everything regarding his career. He concluded that he believed he could meet his Kuwaiti audience again at the Hala February festival, even if it is just for one night.
