The Egyptian action film, "El-Serag" starring Ahmed El-Sakka, has achieved good revenues for the second consecutive week in Saudi Arabian cinemas. The film earned approximately SAR 700,000 in its second week of release, bringing its total earnings for the week to SAR 1.5 million (EGP 18 million). The film is based on a true story about the assassination of 21 Egyptians and follows the journey of a team of Egyptian heroes on a risky mission inside enemy territories where they face strong resistance. The film features a strong cast of Arab actors including Sherif Mounir, Nelly Karim and Mohammed Mamdouh while being directed by the prominent director, Ahmed Nader Galal. El-Serag was produced by Rotana Studios in collaboration with Synergy Film Production.
