The actor is recovering in hospital with medical professionals keeping a close eye on his recovery. As part of his healing process, Al-Taji is only allowed to drink fluids and is unable to speak. The star recently appeared in the Ramadan series Al-Ottola alongside Ahmad El-Sakka and Tarek Lotfi and found success with audiences, but is perhaps best known for his role in Al-Ajhar, a crime thriller that examines the life of an ex-convict attempting to clear his name after being falsely accused of killing his mother.
