After the success of his last film, "Al-Serf", director Ahmed Nader Galal is set to begin filming his upcoming movie "Hiroshima" after the Eid al-Adha holiday. The film will mark the debut production of playwright Ayman Bahgat Qamar, who is partnering with production companies ABK Bahgat Kamar Media Pro and Good Fellas Media Pro. Discussions are currently underway with Galal to choose the cast and crew for the film, which will be shot in various locations. Bahgat Qamar is known for his successful theatrical productions, including "My Fair Lady". Galal's previous film "Al-Serf" earned over EGP 20m in just its first week in theaters. The action-packed movie depicts the Egyptian military's retaliation for the terrorist attack in the Libyan city of Derna that killed 21 Egyptian Copts. Bahgat Qamar has another film, "Ahl Al-Kahf", set for release during Eid al-Adha, featuring a star-studded cast and directed by Amr Arafa.
