A video of the emotional moment was widely shared on social media. The song was written by Amir Teima, composed by Khaled Ezz, and arranged by Amin Bouhafa. It was part of the soundtrack of the TV series "Tariqi" in which Sherine Abdel-Wahab starred. She also performed many other popular songs, including "Mashaeir," as well as some traditional ones at the beginning of her concert.
