Egyptian actress Nagwa Fouad was rushed to the hospital early on Saturday, April 27, after suffering a sudden health crisis. She was taken back home after receiving medical care. Fouad had previously spoken publicly about her ongoing health struggles, claiming that she had been suffering from an illness for over six months that no one had contacted her about. She also complained of financial difficulties and not receiving a pension like other members of society. Fouad suffers from a slipped disc which has caused severe pain and limited mobility. The head of the Actors Syndicate's medical committee, Dr. Ashraf Zaki, has been appointed to oversee Fouad's medical treatment.
