Al Pacino and Dan Stevens team up for horror film.

According to a new report from Variety, cinema legend Al Pacino and actor Dan Stevens are teaming up for a new horror film titled "The Ritual." The duo will play psychologically disturbed priests in the film directed by David Middleditch. XYZ Films has acquired the worldwide rights to the movie, with plans to release it in 2025 and arrange international distribution in the upcoming market. "The Ritual," written by Middleditch and Enrico Natali and produced by Andrew Stevens, Mitchell Welch, and Natali, will be based on a true story and follows two priests - one questioning his faith (Stevens) and the other confronting his troubled past (Pacino) - who are tasked with putting aside their differences to save a possessed young woman through a difficult and dangerous exorcism of evil spirits.
