Rotana Music has announced that there will be a second night of performer Abdul Majeed Abdullah’s concert in Kuwait on 9 and 10 May 2021, following demand from the public. Abdul Majeed Abdullah, known as the Prince of Arabic Song, has been rising in popularity, selling out his Eid Al Fitr concert at Dubai’s Coca Cola Arena in minutes. The event reportedly saw a 14,000-strong crowd, making it one of the largest post-pandemic shows held in the UAE. The performance was organised by Rotana for Music in association with Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment and has been trending on social media. During the concert, Abdullah also announced the new title of his upcoming mini-album, which will be called “Haka Wajed”. The album will include four songs, all written by Turk and composed by Tariq Muhammad, and is being produced by Rotana. Abdullah has recently been discussing potential collaboration with other artists such as Samira Said and Elissa, although he remains particular about the thematic material and lyrics. The Prince of Arabic Song attributes his popularity to his emphasis on quality over quantity in organising his performances. During his Dubai concert, Abdullah performed nearly 22 of his greatest hits, which he had rehearsed over several days for the show.
