Kuwaiti singer Abdullah Al Rowaishid has gone to Germany to continue his medical treatment after having suffered a health setback two months ago. Although Al Rowaishid's family denied rumours earlier this week about his health getting worse, Rotana Records, the Saudi-owned record label which represents the singer, stated that he was still receiving treatment in Germany. Al Rowaishid's last concert, scheduled for 23 February in Jeddah, was cancelled because of his health. Rotana Records' chief executive, Salem Al Hindi, reassured fans that “Abdullah Al Rowaishid is fine and in good health and we will reassure the fans. Everything is okay”. Kuwaiti singer Nawal Al Kuwaitia also wished him well, while Syrian singer Asala Nasri posted a video message to her Instagram with Al Rowaishid in which he looked in good spirits and thanked Nasri’s fans for their support.
