Lebanese director Nadine Labaki has hinted at a new film project in a recent interview with Arab Wood TV. Labaki, who studied media at Saint Joseph University in Beirut, won a prize for her graduation project in Paris in 1998 before going on to direct advertisements and music videos. She has since become one of the most famous music video directors in the Arab world, creating videos for artists including Nancy Ajram and Pascal Mashalani. Her first feature film, "Caramel", was released in 2007 and won critical acclaim, followed by "Where Do We Go Now?" in 2011, which won the People's Choice Award at the Toronto International Film Festival. In 2018, she directed "Capernaum", which received an Oscar nomination for Best Foreign Language Film. Labaki's next project has yet to be announced but is eagerly awaited by her fans.
